Executive Director

My family and I are SOOO excited to be here in middle Tennessee in the land of warm weather. We came down from the north land of Minnesota (I do mean NORTH just 100 miles from Canada and way north of places like Maine and Toronto.) We lived in Grand Rapids to be exact) I have been privileged to be used by God in ministry for over 16 years at this point. I have worked with summer camps for most of that time, but I have also worked in the local church in families, youth and children ministry.

My wife Jennifer and I have been married for 11 years and have four children, Brianna 8, JChris 5, BJ 3, and "Gracee" who joined us at the end of November, plus a dog, 2 cats and assorted crawly things throughout the yard that the kids keep bringing in.

I grew up camping and doing church camp in the St. Louis area and got my Masters in Church Recreation in response to God’s calling for my life. It is such a privilege to have the chance to work and live at Cedar Crest. This is such a serene place that allows us to get away from the mad rat race of our everyday lives and to sit back and listen for that small still voice of the Spirit calling each of us to further the Kingdom of God here on earth. I hope you will take advantage of the beautiful place just a short drive from Nashville.

Director of Maintenance

I grew up here in Hickman County and have lived here all my life. Eight years ago I came to Cedar Crest as a seasonal housekeeper and have filled in all over the camp ever since that time. I love this place and what it has done for my family and me. I have two boys, a husband and I don't know how many cars in parts in the back yard. This past year with the reorganization of Cedar Crest I was promoted to Director of Maintenance. This is a new challenge for me, but I’ve done it all before anyway. Our facilities are in great shape but there is always something that needs to be fixed.
